Early Bird Workshops

Are you ready to get that contrary WIP whipped into shape and editor ready? Well, we’ve got the classes for you. Each month, from 10:00 to 11:30 am before the regular meeting (and in the same location), OKRWA will be offering Novel from Scratch and Advanced Editing classes for OKRWA members only. We’ll be listening to workshops from RWA’s national conferences and loosely following Todd Stone’s Novelist’s Boot Camp.

Novel from Scratch is for those who have anywhere from the barest of ideas to a partially finished draft, and Advanced Editing is for those who have a completed manuscript.

Bring pen, paper, a copy of Todd Stone’s Novelists Boot Camp, and a printout of whatever you have of your novel.

Advanced Editing students should bring a printed copy of their complete manuscript.

Very special rewards await those who make it all the way to the end.

Contact Donnell Epperson for more details.

Romance Writers of America is a non-profit organization for those interested in writing Romance fiction. Our purpose is to promote excellence in Romance fiction; to support and encourage our unpublished members in their efforts to become published; and to support, encourage, and promote the works and careers of our members published in Romance fiction.

OK-RWA meets monthly in the Oklahoma City area. At our meetings we share news about our writing and the latest happenings in the publishing world, and we have a program focused on one of the many aspects of writing Romance novels.
